House Rules

Welcome to XL Sauna & Lounge! To ensure all guests have a pleasant and safe stay, we kindly ask that you observe the following rules:

I. General Conduct Rules

Consideration and Respect:
Mutual consideration and respectful behavior are the top priorities. Behave in a way that ensures all guests feel comfortable.

Staff Instructions:
Please follow the instructions of the staff at all times. They are there to ensure your safety and the smooth operation of the facility.

Textile-Free Zone:
The entire sauna area is textile-free. Please do not wear swimwear in the sauna areas.

II. Admission and Prices

Entry Prices:
Prices include the use of a towel and are valid for the duration stated on the price list. The current price list is available at the entrance and on our website.

Payment Due Upon Entry:
Generally, the entry fee and any rental fees must be paid upon entering the sauna. Payment upon leaving the sauna is based on trust and depends on the staff’s discretion.

Additional Fees:
Additional services in our sauna, such as bar offerings, solarium, or towel rentals, may incur extra fees. These must be fully paid upon leaving the sauna. The staff cannot make any exceptions in this regard.

Single Entry Only:
Your entry fee is valid for a single visit only. Once you leave the facility, your entry is no longer valid. This also applies to brief exits from the sauna. In such cases, it is at the staff’s discretion whether a re-entry fee must be paid.

No Refunds:
Refunds or reductions of the entry fee for not using certain areas are not possible.

III. Use of Facilities

Sauna Areas:
The sauna can only be used without clothing. Please use a sufficiently large towel to protect the benches from sweat.

Personal Hygiene:
A thorough shower is mandatory before using the sauna. Please use the showers before entering the saunas or water areas. The staff reserves the right to remind guests about hygiene or deny entry to the sauna in case of insufficient hygiene. In such cases, a refund of the entry fee is excluded.

Care of Facilities:
Please treat all facilities with care. In case of damage or contamination, you are obliged to report this to the staff. Misuse or deliberate contamination may result in a cleaning fee and can lead to a ban from the facility.

Cleanliness:
Avoid contaminating the saunas and benches. Towels should be taken with you after use and returned to the front desk.

IV. Behavior in the Sauna

Silence and Relaxation:
The sauna is a place of quiet and relaxation. Loud talking, singing, and other disruptive noises are to be avoided. If encounters get a bit heated and loud, we kindly ask you to use the private cabins in the dark area.

No Electronic Devices:
The use of mobile phones, tablets, or other electronic devices is prohibited throughout the facility.

Prohibited Items:
Glass containers, weapons, or dangerous items are not allowed in the facility.

Smoking in the Sauna:
Smoking is only permitted in designated areas. The door to the smoking area must remain closed at all times.

Own Food and Drinks:
Brought-in food and beverages may only be consumed in the changing room area. Drinks may only be brought in unopened original packaging.

V. Safety and Hygiene

Slip Hazard:
Always be cautious of slippery floors and use the handrails on stairs and ramps.

Health:
Persons with open wounds or under the influence of excessive alcohol or drugs may not use the facility. Please note that the use of party or sex drugs is prohibited on our premises, in accordance with the legal regulations of the Narcotics Act (BtMG). We place great importance on providing a safe and legal environment for all our guests.

VI. Lost and Valuable Items

Lost Property:
Found items should be handed over to the staff. These will be managed according to legal regulations.

Valuables:
The sauna assumes no liability for the destruction, damage, or loss of brought-in items and valuables. This also applies to items stored in lockers.

VII. Opening Hours and Access Rules

Opening Hours:
The current opening hours are available on our website. The facility must be vacated before closing time. Staying in the sauna outside of opening hours is strictly prohibited! Violations may result in a ban from the facility.

Restrictions:
Operational restrictions may occur and will be announced in advance. No refunds of the entry fee are available in the event of restrictions.

Access Restrictions:
Persons who violate the house rules, harass other guests, or do not follow the staff’s instructions may be expelled from the premises. In such cases, the entry fee will not be refunded.

VIII. Disclaimer

Personal Responsibility:
Use of the facility is at your own risk. The operator ensures the maintenance and safety of the facilities but is not liable for damages caused by improper guest behavior.

Force Majeure:
The operator is not liable for damages caused by force majeure, accidents, or defects that are not immediately apparent.

Reporting Injuries:
Injuries must be reported to the staff immediately. Tampering with facilities is prohibited and may result in liability claims and criminal consequences.

IX. House Rights and Sanctions

House Rights:
The staff reserves the right to enforce house rules and expel guests who violate the rules from the facility. A ban from the facility may be imposed if the house rules are violated once or repeatedly.

Trespassing:
Anyone who refuses to leave the premises when asked commits trespassing and may be reported.
